Interaction between environmental degradation and economic growth is a growing matter of interest among policymakers. In this study, we have considered CO2 emission as the air pollution indicator. Based on Solow growth model with Hicks-neutral productivity adjustment, we have calculated the elasticity of CO2 emission to energy consumption. This study has been done for 1971-2010.
